Course Description

This two-day RABQSA-Certified course uses the ISO 14001:2008 Standard and the ISO 19011 Auditing Guidelines to develop auditing skills. Emphasis is placed on auditing processes and the clauses found in the ISO 14001:2008 Standard. The theory of auditing is applied to practical auditing system exercises in a workshop format.

Performance-based objectives

 An understanding and working knowledge of internal auditors responsibilities

• How to develop internal auditor teams
• Know how to plan and conduct effective internal audits
• Know how to manage the audit process, including opening meetings, auditing, closing meetings, and preparation of the final report
• How to document non-conformances as an Internal Auditor
