Course Overview:

  • Explain the differences between HTML, SGML and XML.
  • Create well formed XML.
  • Create valid XML.
  • CreateDTD.
  • Display XML documents inbrowser using CSS.
  • Display XML documents inbrowser using XSL.
  • Link to files outside of an XML document.

Prerequisites

This course is designed for a person who possesses previous HTML or other markup language experience. To ensure your success, we recommend you first take the Element K course HTML 4.01: Level 1 (Second Edition), or have equivalent knowledge.

  • Linking the “old fashion” way using HTML namespaces
  • XLink and XPointer
