HP Internet Services Software Fundamentals - Training
Three Day - Instructor Led

Course Profile

This 3-day course shows students how to utilize HP Internet Services Software to monitor business critical web applications and services. Students will learn to use Internet Services to help predict, isolate, diagnose and troubleshoot problem occurrences, anticipate capacity shortfalls, and report on Service Level Agreements. In addition, students will learn how to integrate Internet Services with other HP Software products. The course is based on version 6 of Internet Services, and is taught mostly on the Windows platform. Functionality and integration in Unix environments is also covered.

  • Customers: Web managers and IT staff who are responsible for monitoring and ensuring the availability of business critical web applications and services
  • Channel Partners and Others: Solution architects or consultants who will be integrating HP Internet Services Software with other HP Software products
  • HP Engineers: Pre-sales and post-sales engineers who will be supporting the HP Internet Services Software product

Prerequisites

  • Be able to perform basic administration tasks on UNIX and Windows systems
  • Be familiar with the HTTP and HTML protocols
  • Have some familiarity with other HP Software products, such as HP Operations Software is an advantage
