You can also upgrade your existing MCITP certification by passing 417 - Upgrading your Skills to MCSA Windows Server 2012 in addition to the above listed exams.

MCSA Windows Server 2012

The Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Windows Server 2012 certification shows that you have the primary set of Windows Server skills that are relevant across multiple solution areas in a business environment. The MCSA: Windows Server 2012 certification is a prerequisite for earning the MCSE: Server Infrastructure certification or the MCSE: Desktop Infrastructure certification.

To gain this certification you must pass the 410 - Installing and Configuring Windows Server 20120, 411 - Administering Windows Server 2012, and 412 - Configuring Advanced Windows Server 2012 Services exams. You can upgrade your existing certification by passing all of the above and 417 - Upgrading your Skills MCSA Windows Server 2012.

MCSA Windows Server 2008

The Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Windows Server 2008 certification shows that you have the minimum set of skills needed to hit the ground running, and differentiates you as better able to work with Windows Server 2008 in a real-world business context. This certification validates a set of primary Windows Server skills that are relevant across multiple solution areas. MCSA: Windows Server 2008 certification is a prerequisite for earning an MCSE: Private Cloud.

In order to gain this certification you must pass 640 - Windows Server 2008 Active Directory Configuring, 642 - Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure Configuring, and 646 - Windows Server 2008 Server Administrator exams. You can also upgrade your existing certificate by taking the 417 - Upgrading your Skills to MCSA Windows Server 2012.
